Knit'n'Tag

In Helsinki (capital city of Finland) we had a cool Knit'n'Tag event in a park. For the event anyone could reserve a tree, that  she or he (or like in the most cases: a group of people) would like to decorate with knitted/crocheted graffiti. I reserved one tree and made a "Seagurumi" piece of graffiti. For the work I crocheted a fishing net and small fishes, mermaid, crab and octopus. I also added some seashells that I collected with the kids in the family's holiday trip to Denmark. Here are some pictures of the Knit'n'Tag event:

Tänään vietettiin Helsingissä Knit'n'Tag tapahtuma, jossa kiinnitettiin Ruttopuiston puihin neulegraffiteja. Allekirjoittanut oli tehnyt meri aiheisen työn. Virkkasin kalaverkkoja peräti kaksi kappaletta ja verkkoon kaloja, merenneidon, ravun ja mustekalan. Viimeinen silaus työhön tuli kesälomalla kerätyistä aidoista simpukoista.
